SYNOPSIS

Prof. Peng Laxon warns his students that anyone who arrives late on the day of the midterm exam will be denied entry and will not be allowed to take the test. That night, Koleen accidentally hits her alarm clock in her sleep, causing it to fall, crack its glass, and her drool pushes the hour hand backward, making her wake up an hour late the next morning. She rushes to school only to find the classroom door locked. Desperate to get inside, she tries everything: turning the knob, knocking, calling her best friend on the phone, throwing a chair, a locker, and even a vending machine—but nothing works. She digs underground and encounters another late student, Tsonik the hedgehog, who suggests bombing the school to escape the exam altogether; Tsonik mysteriously vanishes in the resulting explosion. Koleen climbs back up to the hallway, only to find that the damage is minimal and the door unscratched. After terrorizing and arguing with the door, it suddenly sways itself open, slamming Koleen into the wall and waking the school guard from his sleep. The guard later agrees to unlock the door with his spare key. At that moment, the professor arrives and apologizes to the guard for being late, explaining that he had already been on his way to school but an explosion occurred. As Koleen hurriedly gathers her scattered belongings, the professor enters the classroom without noticing her. Just as she moves to follow, the door slams shut in her face, leaving her locked outside once again.
